Assoc Prof. Dr. Kaies Samet is a highly accomplished academic and researcher in the field of Economic Sciences, currently serving as Maitre de Conferences at the Institut Superieur de Gestion Industrielle de Sfax, Tunisia, and as an active researcher at the Laboratoire en Economie de Developpement, Faculty of Economics and Management of Sfax. He holds a Doctorate and a University Habilitation in Economic Sciences from the Faculty of Economics and Management of Sfax, earned with distinction. Over his long and dedicated academic career, he has taught at several prominent Tunisian institutions including the Institut Superieur de Gestion de Gabes, Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Sfax, Esprit School of Business, and Universite Centrale de Tunis. His teaching and research cover a wide range of topics such as economic growth, the knowledge economy, digital transformation, innovation systems, decision making models, and regional development. Dr Kaies Samet has authored more than forty five academic publications, including journal articles, book chapters, and conference papers, which together have received over 8 citations, demonstrating his influence in the academic community, with an h index of 2 according to Scopus. His research contributions often bridge theory and practice, addressing the dynamics of technological progress, information systems, and their implications for sustainable economic development in emerging economies.
