Mr. Bao Pengfei is a distinguished scholar and translator specializing in multilingualism, translation studies, and intercultural communication. He earned a Master of Arts in Translation from The University of Hong Kong, focusing on advanced translation studies, language contrast for translators, and the translation of government and commercial texts, and a Bachelor of Arts in Translation from Sichuan International Studies University (SISU), where he studied comprehensive English, oral English, computer-assisted translation, liaison interpreting, Chinese-English translation, advanced English writing, and consecutive interpreting. Over his academic and professional journey, Bao has amassed extensive experience translating and interpreting across diverse domains, including legal, financial, literary, and cultural texts, completing over 200,000 words in multiple languages such as Korean, Japanese, and Chinese through roles at organizations like Zhongshan WYA Trans Service Company, LuzTrans, CICG Asia-Pacific, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea. He has also actively contributed to cultural exchange initiatives and digital marketing efforts promoting Korean culture internationally.
